Uselessness on the board

In a game, every player should be useful to the team.  Those who are not useful or don’t contribute should be remove immediately.  However, there are some players who want to use so much ammo and have alternate intentions that they don’t say the right thing or act as they are suppose to.  This causes the team to cease to function properly.

There are 3 such players…..ASSKAYSEE, JAYLAKHANUT and GEEHEH.

I’m trying not to sound direct but I’m f*@k|N& pissed with them because they are the reason why the GAME is not functioning well.  One of them should already have their obituary in the paper.  The other doesn’t know how to lead the game and is the captain…..*DUMB*… and the last one is a bloated pig without respect for the other players.

Those who understand……understand la k….. 🙂

Buang ibu di Aidilfitri

This article caught my eyes and attention. How could a son did this to his mother who has given birth and raised him up till he became a human. How could he???.

What Tunku Abdul Rahman’s great granddaughter said…

This piece was plucked from an article in The Star on August 29, 2009.  I was not aware of it until I got an email from a friend recently.  She has the same perception as I.

Sharyn Lisa Shufiyan, 24
Conservationist
(Tunku Abdul Rahman’s great granddaughter)

“Both my parents are Malay. My mum’s heritage includes Chinese, Thai and Arab, while my dad is Minangkabau. Due to my skin colour, I am often mistaken for a Chinese.

“I’m happy that I don’t have the typical Malay look but I do get annoyed when people call me Ah Moi or ask me straight up: “Are you Chinese or Malay?”

“Like, why does it matter? Before I used to answer ‘Malay’, but now I’m trying to consciously answer ‘Malaysian’ instead.

“There’s this incident from primary school that I remember till today. Someone told me that I will be called last during Judgement Day because I don’t have a Muslim name. Of course, I was scared then but now that I’m older, I realise that a name is just a name. It doesn’t define you as a good or bad person and there is definitely no such thing as a ‘Muslim’ name. You can be named Rashid and still be a Christian.

“I’ve heard of the 1Malaysia concept, but I think we don’t need to be told to be united. We’ve come such a long way that it should already be embedded in our hearts and minds that we are united. Unfortunately, you can still see racial discrimination and polarisation. There is still this ethno-centric view that the Malays are the dominant group and their rights must be protected, and non-Malays are forever the outsiders.

“For the concept to succeed, I think the Government should stop with the race politics. It’s tiring, really. We grew up with application forms asking us to tick our race. We should stop painting a negative image of the other races, stop thinking about ‘us’ and ‘them’ and focus on ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘Malaysians’.

“No one should be made uncomfortable in their own home. A dear Chinese friend of mine said to me once: ‘I don’t feel patriotic because I am not made to feel like Malaysia is my home, and I don’t feel an affinity to China because I have never lived there’.

“I know some Baba Nyonya friends who can trace their lineage back hundreds of years. I’m a fourth generation Malaysian. If I am bumiputra, why can’t they be, too? Clearly I have issues with the term.

“I think the main reason why we still can’t achieve total unity is because of this ‘Malay Rights’ concept. I’d rather ‘Malay Rights’ be replaced by human rights. So unless we get rid of this bumiputra status, or reform our views and policies on rights, we will never achieve unity.

“For my Merdeka wish, I’d like for Malaysians to have more voice, to be respected and heard. I wish that the Government would uphold the true essence of parliamentary democracy. I wish for the people to no longer fear and discriminate against each other, to see that we are one and the same.

“I wish that Malaysia would truly live up to the tourism spin of ‘Malaysia Truly Asia’.

Such a waste of time

Monday, 7th September 2009 was a public holiday for a few states in Malaysia including Selangor because it was Nuzul Quran.  Disebabkan oleh cuti ni, plan aku untuk g amik kamera aku kat Shah Alam terbantut coz  obviously ofis Canon tutup.

So anyway, this post is not about that.  It is about unreliable information provided by the TMNet Customer Service Officer.  Because of the information that the CS officer provided, time was wasted because of traffic jams all over KL.

My situation was that I wanted to change the name of my streamyx account to someone else because I’m not staying in that residence.  The streamyx account under my name was continued because if I would have terminated it before it was used for 2 years, I would have had to pay penalty charges.

Bila aku call #100 (nombor untuk dihubungi bagi sebarang pertanyaan TM), CS tue kata nama streamyx tue boleh tukar and at the same time boleh upgrade kepada Streamyx Wireless Combo. Aku pon tanyala kat mana TM Point berdekatan untuk buat semua urusan ni and dia gtau ada 2 yang berdekatan; satu dekat ngn Ampang Point and satu lagi kat Pandan Indah.  First2 aku g kat Ampang Point nyer TM Point and it was close because it was public holiday.  Sepatutnya CS tue gtau la aku yang it was close because aku cakap kat dia yang aku nk g arini.  Benda kecik ni kena la prihatin.  Xpela…perkara kecik.  Jadi aku pon pergila kat TM Point Pandan Indah.

Sampai je kat c2, dia kata “Sorry cik, streamyx xleh tukar nama.  Yang boleh tukar nama hanya telefon je.”  Ekeleh….apa kejadahnya?!!!!  Aku pon gtau la dia yang CS TMNet yang gtau cm2.  Dia pon kata mmg xleh.  Tension tol!!!  In the end, aku pon terminate je la akaun streamyx + telefon.  Da malas nk pk da.

After da terminate, terpaksalah mengharungi jam yang panjang lebar yang merata kat KL tue.  Kalau bukan kerana info CS ni yg x betul, plan da lain and jem boleh dielakkan.  Memang buang masa dok dalam jam….buang petrol je.  BODOH!!!

Then, aku dgr lagi 2 crita pasal CS TMNet gak ni. Ekeleh….!!!!  Apa ke bangang!!!!  Ingat member aku tue buta IT ke apa….kalau xtau ckp je la xtau…xya la nk bg info yang x accurate and kebodohan tahap cipan!!!!

It is ok not to know. Tapi…..please jgn bg maklumat salah…..

How bizarre

I visited The Star Online paper a few minutes ago and came upon this video…

I’m wondering….why Indians having a protest rally were arrested and why the Malays doing their protest rally 2 weeks ago were not arrested?  What does this incident tell other Malaysians?  Is this a picture that our Government wants to portray to its society?  Isn’t this playing with fire especially since we are a nation that consists of different races and religions?

If you don’t know what the rally protest was all about, let me brief you on it.  On August 29, there was a protest by Shah Alam Seksyen 23 Malay residents saying that they did not want an Indian temple to be relocated to their area.  Their reason being that, that area is inhibited by 90% Muslims and the Indian temple will disrupt their daily routines.  During this rally, a cow’s head was brought to the front gates of the Setiausaha Kerajaan Selangor building and said to be a gift to Khalid Ibrahim who is the current Menteri Besar Selango because apparently it was his idea to relocate the temple.  So as you know, a cow is a sacred animal to the Indians and I assume that the protesters used it to mock the Indians although they claim that that was not their intentions (what bullshit).

So, that is the reason for the protest  rally by the Indians.

Yesterday, there was a meeting between the residents and the Selangor government and it didn’t go well and the outcome of this unsuccessful  gathering was the relocation of the temple is ON-HOLD.

Another disturbing news that caught my eyes is, according to Malaysiakini.com, a minister is defending the Seksyen 23 protesters.  WTF?!!! In my opinion, if this issue is going to favor the Seksyen 23 protesters than in the future, there will bound to be more of these type of rallies.

Berbuka Puasa with our favourite lecturer

Sabtu baru lepas ni, KC, Atyq and myself berbuka puasa ngn our dear, comel UKM lecturer Kak Mas.

Kitorg mkn kat Restoran Village View kat Hentian Kajang. We had fish, tomyam and ayam kunyit and it was delicious especially the Tom Yam.

After dinner, we headed to Old Timer Cafe in Bandar Baru Bangi for some desert. This was our first time there. The initial plan was to head to Bangi Kopitiam tapi it was under renovation and Kak Mas suggested Old Timer Cafe which was only a few shop lots away. Not bad la the place. There were some interesting drinks which tasted nice.

Bestnya bila Shopping…..! MERDEKA!

Semalam aku g shopping kat Ikano dan The Curve.  Original plan nk teman cousin and aunty aku pi beli glass cabinet kat Ikea je.  Then bila da jalan dan da tgk the 4 letter word “S A L E” merata…apa lagi…..shopping la!  At first….aku beli t-shirt dari Giordano sempena Merdeka.  Sila lihat gamba di bawah….betapa patriotik nya aku!  Hehe….for your info, krusi tue pon baru gaks….dari Ikea gaks…dibeli hari semalamnya.  🙂

Ok…so lepas da beli baju tue, KC pon dtg jumpa aku kat The Curve and we went to Ikea to buy my aunty’s glass cabinet kat Ikea.  Lepas da beli, diorg pon chow pi umah makcik aku.  Aku ngn KC pon ronda lagi la.  First2 kita pergi ke All IT Hypermarket kat tingkat atas sekali kat Ikano.  Tempat tue dulu foodcourt.  Kat situ, aku telah membeli an LCD Screen Cleaning Kit dan blank DVD-Rs.  DVD ni patut ada 25 je tapi ada discount so ada 27 keping.  Not bad la.  Aku ada beli gaks external DVD Drive utk cousin aku so my bill came to lebih RM200 so qualify utk jadi member.  Dapatlah kad lagi satu.  Ntah da brapa banyak kad member la aku ada….hari tue bila beli sandal Hush Puppies jadi member gaks.  Next time have to buy a wallet which has more compartments for cards.

IT

After da shopping kat c2, gie Popular laks. KC pulak bershopping nya. Dia nya yg warna biru gelap….doraemon tgh tdo tue.  Siap kitorg testing dulu, make sure it’s working.

Pas popular we went to Borders kat the Curve plak. Tgk tgk kat situ ada plak buku yg on special price. Siap ada set bowling kat dlm lagi and a handbook on all the features of bowling.  Menariks and tidak mahal….hanya RM17.90 coz ada discount. Haha!  The other book was THE SPORTS BOOK.  Actually buku ni aku pernah tgk dulu.  Masa tue pon nak beli da tapi mahal.  Kali ni, on sale plak.  Dia nya depan da cm komot2 skit la and the pages ada yg x perfect sgt tapi xpela…janji murah.  Bak kata KC, x rugi beli buku.  🙂  Very encouraging.  books

Bila nk pi bayar tue, nmpk plak frame gamba.  Earlier, aku ada cuci 4 keping gamba so aku pon beli la frame dia.  Murah gaks….50% off.  Aku da arrange kat dresser aku kat dlm bilik.  It matches!

Kalau pre order dpt 25% off the normal price which is RM99.90 then dpt gak a few other vouchers dari Starbucks, Kenny Rogers, kedai donut baru tue apa ntah nama dia Borders voucher gak dapat and a few more kot kalau x silap aku.  Memang da lama aku nk order da and finally aku telah pre-order coz aku tgk ni, dia bg byk gak additional incentives.  So….nnt bila buku ni da smpi kat Borders The Curve, diorg akan call aku dan aku akan pergi amik.  Wow!  Excitednya!  Aku memang suka buku2 yang Dan Brown tulis.  Penuh misteri…..SYIOK!Habis kat Borders, kitorg pon berbuka puasa di McDonalds and our final destination before going back was Metrojaya coz aku nak beli kasut formal.  Kasut aku yg lama da aku buang kat Swiss sebelum aku balik coz da hancus! Memang keseronakan kehabisan!  Mungkin gak aku lepas kempunan x shopping masa kat Swiss selama 7 bulan.  Tapi hakikatnya….barang kat Swiss memang kemahalan dan shopping kat Malaysia is the best!!!  SELAMAT HARI MERDEKA!!!!
